At QUT there are identified recommended paths that traverse each campus. These walkways have clear lines of visibility and at night they are well lit and well used by other pedestrians. They are also part of the unpatterned patrol route used by uniformed Security officers. In addition, there are Emergency Call Points located along their routes as well as some CCTV coverage.
Whenever possible you should not walk alone after dark. When on campus you should also consider using the recommended paths.
