Australian Disability Parking Permit (ADPP)

Persons who hold a current Australian Disability Parking Permit (ADPP) are entitled to free parking on campus. The ADPP provides permit holders with a universal permit design recognised in every state of Australia. The ADPP has replaced the Queensland Blue disability parking permit which all previous blue permit holders should have received. Queensland Blue disability parking permits are not valid from 31st March 2011. Parking spaces provided exclusively for ADPP holders at Kelvin Grove are located on level 1 of F Block. At Gardens Point, disabled spaces (for both ADPP and Red permit holders) are located on level 1 of S, Z and C Blocks.

Red Queensland Transport Disability Permit

Persons who hold a current red Queensland Transport disability permit must display this permit, plus either a Pay and Display ticket or M Parking Permit when parked in disabled parking spaces on campus.

The Kelvin Grove campus map shows the locations of disabled parking spaces at Kelvin Grove. Disabled spaces are allocated according to need in appropriate locations. Any person who finds the location of disabled spaces on campus inadequate or inappropriate should contact the Parking Office.

Disability Permits From Interstate

Persons who hold mobility permits from other states (except ADPP) are afforded the same rights and privileges as red Queensland Transport Disability Permit holders. Interstate permit holders will need to complete a parking application form and submit a full copy of their mobility permit.

Applications for M permits are made through the parking application system. A full copy of your Queensland Transport Disability (Red) Permit must also be submitted to the Parking Office.
