Staff and students who wish to park on campus after hours (late evening, weekends or public holidays) may apply for an after hours or weekend permit. These permits are issued for either a full year (expires 31 Dec) or a half year (expires 30 Jun or 31 Dec). Alternatively you may use the Pay & Display Car Parks on either campus and pay the going rate.
Weekend Parking: Weekend parking starts at midnight Friday and runs through until midnight Sunday. Fees are $65.00 for a full year or $32.50 for a half year.
Afterhours Parking: Afterhours parking is defined as 9.00 pm until 7.00 am Monday to Friday. Fees are $20.00 for a full year or $10.00 for a half year.
Public Holidays: Public Holidays parking covers each gazetted Public Holiday (10 days - New Years Day, Australia Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Anzac Day, Labour Day, Queens Birthday, Exhibition Holiday, Christmas Day and Boxing Day). Fees are $25.00 per year.
To apply for weekend or after hours permits, you will need to complete the online application available through QUT Virtual. Public Holiday permits are available from the Gardens Point Parking Office (M120).
