Staff may apply for a parking permit to park in car parks 1.3. and 8. Permits will only be issued to staff who work on the campus. To apply for a parking permit you need to complete a Parking Application Form and submit it to the Parking Office by the due date. You should be aware that some bays within car park 1 are restricted to 4 hours parking as signposted.
Staff may also park in car parks 2,4,5,6,7 and in the marked bays on lower campus road. These car parks do not require a parking permit or any other authorisation. Some bays in car park 7 and on the Lower Campus Road are restricted to either 2 or 4 hours parking as signposted
Shift Workers
A shift worker is a general staff member as defined by the currect QUT Enterprise Bargaing Agreement. Staff who fall within this category may aply for a permit to park in the marked bays in car park 9. To apply for a permit you will need to complete a Shift Workers Parking Application Form.
Senior Staff (Staff Employed under the Certified Agreement for Senior Staff)
Senior Staff members who apply for a parking permit will be issued with an All Campus Permit and will also be able to park in the marked bays within car park 9.

If you need to travel between campuses, there is a free inter-campus shuttle service between the Carseldine and Kelvin Grove Campuses, and between Kelvin Grove and Gardens Point. The service is provided through a Brisbane Transport (BCC) bus travelling route 392. Route 391 operates between the Kelvin Grove and Gardens Point Campuses.
