Staff and students who wish to attend the Gardens Point campus on the weekend or afterhours (after 8pm) may apply for a Weekend or Afterhours parking permit. These permits are issued for either a full year (expires 31 Dec) or a half year (expires 30 Jun or 31 Dec).

Weekend Parking starts at midnight Friday and runs through until midnight Sunday. Fees are $40 for a full year and $20 for a half year. Fees are a flat rate and are GST inclusive.

Afterhours Parking is from 8 pm until 7 am Monday to Friday. Fees are $11 for a full year and $5.50 for a half year. Fees are a flat rate and are GST inclusive.

You may also purchase parking for public holidays. This includes parking for each gazetted Public Holiday (10 days) and is charged at a flat rate of $5.50 per year (GST inclusive).

To apply for any of the above permits you will need to complete a Weekend & After hours Application Form. Payment should be made at the Parking Office when submitting your application.

If you are attending the Kelvin Grove or Carseldine campuses on weekends most open-air car parks are unrestricted at this time. Please ensure that you check the signs before parking.
