Carseldine Campus.
Motorcycles may park in the designated motocycle bays. These bays are located on Lower Campus Road adjacent to car park 3.
Gardens Point Campus.
Motorycle parking is available in the marked area on Gardens Point Road, oppsite P Block, along the side of P Block (Gardens Point Road side) and in the marked area near the exit boom gate at C Block. Once the Energex Upgrade Project is complete, the motorcycle parking under the Captain Cook Bridge will be returned. Motorcycle riders who use these areas are not required to obtain a permit or other authorisation, although you are requested to be considerate of other riders who use the area.
More secure motorcycle parking is available in the designated bays on Level 1 S Block, L:evel 2 Z Block and Level 1 and 2 C Blocks. There is a fee for using this area and you will need to apply for this parking. Forms are available from the Parking Office, or online and fees are a flat rate per half year with permits expiring on 30 June or 31 December each year. Fees are $25.00 per day for the half year, including GST. (eg if parking on Mondays only it will cost $25.00 for the half year, if parking Monday to Friday it will costs $125.00 for the half year).
Kelvin Grove Campus.
Motorcycles may park in designated open-air motorcycle bay. No permit or other authorisation is required to use the motorcycle parking. Access to the motorcycle bays is via designated roadways only and motorcycles are not to be ridden on paths. The open-air car parks can be found in the following locations:
- K Block car park
- D/E Car Park
- Laneway adjacent to G Block
- Behind M Block
- Behind S Block
- Under P Block
- Lot 5 CIP and
- Adjacent to Z8 CIP
Motorcycles may also be parked in the designated bays within the SLSC Pay & Display car park. There is a fee for using this area and you will need to apply for this parking. Forms are available from the Parking Office, or online and fees are a flat rate per half year with permits expiring on 30 June or 31 December each year. Fees are $25.00 per day for the half year, including GST. (eg if parking on Mondays only it will cost $25.00 for the half year, if parking Monday to Friday it will costs $125.00 for the half year).
