Staff who work at Carseldine Campus are able to apply for a parking permit for car parks 1, 3 and 8. In order to apply for a parking permit, staff are required to complete the relevant Parking Application Form and submit it to the Parking Office by the due date.
You may only park within marked parking bays. No parking is permitted on grassed or other areas not set aside as a parking areas and infringement notices will be issued to vehicles which park in such areas.
Motorcycle Parking: Motorcycles may be parked in the designated motorcycle bays located on the Lower Campus Road, adjacent to car park 3. Entrance is via Beams Road, Gate 1 or Dorville Road, Gate 3. Should you hold a relevant permit and nominate a motorcycle as one of the vehicles on the permit, you may park the motorcycle in a parking bay for which the permit is valid. The registration number of the motorcycle must appear on the permit and the permit must be clearly displayed on the motorcycle.
Disabled Parking: Persons who hold a current Queensland Transport disability permit are permitted to park in any of the marked disabled bays on campus. You are advised to also apply for a QUT Parking Permit to allow you to also park in permit only areas and to also ensure that sufficient disabled spaces are provided.
Intercampus Travel: For intercampus travel, the University provides a free shuttle service between the Carseldine and Kelvin Grove Campuses. The service is provided through a Brisbane Transport (BCC) bus travelling route 392. Route 391 operates between the Kelvin Grove and Gardens Point Campuses.
