Bicycles must be parked in the approved bicycle racks provided. They are not permitted in buildings, building foyers or elevators or secured to hand rails or light posts.
Bicycles may only be ridden on designated roadways, and cyclists must dismount and walk their bike when using pedestrian walkways.
Carseldine Campus.
Bicycle racks can be found adjacent to the following buildings - L, E and C Blocks. Please see the campus map for locations of these buildings.
Gardens Point Campus.
Bicycle racks can be found in the following locations - A Block; B Block; C Block; L Block;S Block and Z Block.
There are also two secure bike compounds available at Gardens Point (Q/R laneway & L Block). Access to the compound is by your id card. A once off fee of $5 is charged to activate your card. In order to gain access to the bike compound you will need to complete the application form.
Kelvin Grove Campus.
Bicycle racks can be found in the following locations -between A& D Blocks, D Block adjacent to Victoria Park Rd; level 1 F Block (SLSC); Between H & X Block, Ring Road near busway lift, Ring Road outside entrance to N Block; Between O & P Blocks; CIP behind Z5.
There is also a secure bike compound available within the IHBI Building (Q Block). Access to the compound is by your id card. A once off fee of $5 is charged to activate your card. In order to gain access to the bike compound you will need to complete the application form. Also included within the secure bike compound are some individual bike lockers. These may be hired for a yearly fee of $50.00. Please contact the Parking Office should you wish to have an individual locker.
