Statutory RCD Testing GP and KG Campus

Facilities Management has a planned program of work to conduct the testing of Electricial Safety Switches at Gardens Point and Margaret Street until Wednesday 22 February 2012, and at Kelvin Grove from Thursday 23 February 2012 and Friday 2 February 2012. The testing will be between 10:00pm and 6:00am each day.

It is a statutory requirement under the Electricial Safety Act 2002 that all Residual Current Devices (RCD's) are tested.

All power disruptions will be kept to a minimum and the tests will be performed in consultation with occupants in each area.
