Any incidents involving a fleet vehicle must be reported to the Campus Services - Logistics Office as soon as possible.

Insurance claim forms are required for any damage exceeding $500.00. These forms are to be completed by the driver, or in the event of damage while the vehicle was stationary, the owner, of the vehicle. Individual departments are responsible for the insurance excess of $500.00, this is recovered by Campus Services via an internal transfer.

If a vehicle requires towing, an RACQ approved towtruck operator may tow the vehicle to the nearest smash repairer. If possible, vehicles should be towed to one of the following smash repairers:

Retain any documentation (accident data sheets or towing and hire receipts) pertaining to the incident for inclusion with the insurance claim forward all documentation to your campus Logistics Office.
