Any incidents involving a fleet vehicle must be reported to the Logistics Centre as soon as possible on 3138 3940.

An insurance claim form is required for any damage exceeding $500.00. This form is to be completed by the driver of the vehicle. Forms are available from the Logistics Centre. Individual departments are responsible for repair costs, whether an insurance claim is made or not. This is recovered by Campus Services via internal transfer.

If a vehicle requires towing, only an RACQ approved towtruck operator may tow the vehicle to the nearest smash repairer. If possible, vehicles should be towed to one of the following smash repairers:

Drivers must retain any documentation (accident data sheets or towing and hire receipts) pertaining to the incident for inclusion with the insurance claim. Forward all documentation to the Logistics Centre.
