Facility Bookings

Centrally controlled rooms which are not already in use may be booked for ad hoc purposes. An authorised booking through Campus Services is essential should staff or students wish to use a room that appears to be free.

Please read these conditions prior to requesting a booking.

• QUT Staff can make their own tentative bookings directly by using the QUT Web Room Booking System (WRBS). (Instructions):
  
  WRBS Booking Period 30/6/200 to 22/2/2009(see note 1 below)
  
  
• Alternatively, contact your School administration/timetabling officer to determine the availability of space and arrange bookings.

Semester 2 2008 & Summer (period 30/6/08 to 22/2/09)

Students should contact their School Administration Office to arrange for bookings to be made on their behalf.

Please note:

1. There are limited rooms available until Week 3 of each semester in order to accommodate various fluctuations which cause timetable changes. From Week 3, all unused central teaching rooms are available for approved ad hoc use.
   
   
2. Staff and students may not use any internal or external location unless it is properly timetabled for a class, or there is an authorised ad hoc booking. If staff or students are found to be in a location without appropriate authorisation they will be removed.
   
   
3. Catering will not normally be permitted in or around general classrooms. {MOPP} Catering outlets at all campuses are aware of this requirement and will not provide catering unless it has been approved.

No adjustment to the class timetable will be made to accommodate ad-hoc booking requests.
