General waste is collected on a daily basis (Monday to Friday) and disposed of through an accredited contractor using approved methods. The frequency of the service accords with the requirements of the area. General waste is defined as material other than recyclable material (paper, aluminium cans or cardboard).
Construction material, batteries or other waste mentioned below is not defined as general waste and should not be placed in the general waste bins.
