Facilities Management has cardboard and polystyrene collection facilities at each campus operating in the following locations:

Gardens Point:

Kelvin Grove:

Cardboard BinCardboard Bin

This cardboard, together with any polystyrene, is collected by the waste contractor daily.

How you can assist with this initiative...

Please take all your cardboard and polystyrene to one of the cardboard collection facilities mentioned above the polystyrene must be placed within a plastic bag, bubble wrap and shrink wrap can be disposed of in the same fashion as polystyrene (in plastic bags).

OR

Flatten cardboard boxes and leave them beside the blue paper recycling bins, located on most floors of buildings or alternatively in an area easily accessed by the cleaner, Any polystyrene packaging fill from inside boxes must be removed and placed in a separate plastic bag, Do not restrict any access.

It is important that all cardboard and polystyrene generated in offices is dealt with correctly to make it easier for the cleaners to collect.
