The launch will be preceded by a panel discussion including some of the authors and with guest speaker, Ewan McEoin, (Studiopropeller). Ewan set up the Brisbane and Melbourne
State of Design festivals and will talk about the centrality of design in public policy today; what opportunities and challenges this brings to designers.

Tuesday, 29 May
Cities, Cultural Policy and Governance will be launched by Gay Hawkins, Professorial Research Fellow and Deputy Director Centre for Critical and Cultural Studies, University of Queensland. This will be followed by a panel with co-editor Yudhishthir Raj Isar, and volume contributors Justin O'Connor and Stuart Cunningham.
